Covid 19 Notice


As you are aware the World Health Organization (WHO) declared on January 30, 2020, that the outbreak of novel coronavirus is a pandemic resulting in "public health emergency of international concern."

In view of the evolving situation due to the pandemic, for reasons of public interest in the area of public health and protecting against serious cross-border threats to health, we would like to notify you that Mindtree may collect and share some of your personal and health information (listed below) as per direction of the regulatory authorities or substantial public interest in the event you are visiting our premises.

  3. Mobile No
  4. Temperature
  5. enable contact tracking applications (as mandated/ advised by local governments)
  6. Detail on COVID-19 symptoms in past 14 days
  7. Positive COVID-19 test in past 14 days

2. With whom we may be sharing your data?

We may be sharing your data with the local authorities upon their request.

3. What is the purpose of collecting your data?

We will be collecting the data- (i) to ensure a safe workplace for all our employees and contractors (working out of our premises) and whoever visits our premises; and (ii) providing local authorities with such data upon their request.

4. How long we may be sharing this data?

We may be sharing such data as and whenever we receive such requests from the local authorities.

5. Whose data we may be collecting?

We will be collecting data of (i) our employees and contractors (working out of our premises); and (ii) all visitors to our premises.

6. What is the lawful basis for sharing this data?

The lawful basis of sharing your data will be under the “Substantial Public Interest” and “Compliance with Laws”.

7. Period for which we will store your data?

We will be storing the data for 6 months from the date of collection. Further, if the data is shared with local authorities upon their request, then such data will be stored by such local authorities as per their retention policies.

8. Security of your data?

Mindtree implements appropriate security measures designed to prevent unlawful or unauthorized processing of your personal data and accidental loss of or damage to personal data.

Mindtree will not be responsible for your data once your data has been shared with the authorities. We expect the authorities to take appropriate measures to keep your data safe and secure.

Please be informed that if you are screened with COVID-19 symptoms, then as per local authority notification, you may not be allowed to enter our premises and will be required to contact appropriate healthcare provider for assessment and testing.
